The Altima Hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter engine with an aluminum cylinder block and 244.8-volt nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery. This front-wheel drive sedan is equipped with a hybrid transaxle and provides an efficient drive through an electronic continuously variable transmission (eCVT).
